Binalonan Pangasinan, Philippines

Brief History

According to History, the area was known to be originally owned by a certain spaniard named Don Salvador. During that time he asked his men to put up barricade along the area to build his ownership. These men used to have their lunch while resting under a camachile tree. It is then called as the place where people bring their " balon " which is an ilocano term meaning " packed Lunch " . Hence the term " binalonan " which is an ilocano term meaning " a place where people bring and eat their packed lunch " was originated.
